Being mindful is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing. When being mindful, we are not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us. When we are mindful of our actions, we pay more attention to what we are doing. We tune into our senses, noticing our thoughts and emotions.
