Celebratory Immersion
We are excited to bring you the latest updated event at Amansala Retreat and Wellness Center on the Pacific Ocean Beach Front on the Nicoya Peninsula of Costa Rica. This event will be held at our corporate headquaters facility near the town of Sámara, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Sámara is located on Guanacaste Peninsula approximately half way along the coastal peninsula. The area is known as a Global Blue Zone. Nicoya stands out from the rest of Costa Rica as it is one of the only 5 Blue Zones in the world and we are fortunate enough to have landed an incredible estate for this event. You can learn more about Blue Zones Here.
Chill-Out Zones

During your stay we will be visiting Playa Carrillo and Playa Barrigona beaches for early morning yoga and meditation, followed by locally harvested and prepared Tico breakfast on the beach. Throughout the three weeks, expect to visit Nosara Biological Reserve, Olive Ridley sea-turtle nesting site and the nearby Ostional Wildlife Refuge. Three days will be with our partner retreat center near Manuel Antonio and three days with our partners at VerdEnergia, both in Puntarenas Province.

Workshops

While at our facility along the coastal region there will be workshops presented by our partnered massage therapists, chiropractors, NLP practitioners, Tantra practioners, Ayervedic practioners and a daily Tea Lounge.

There will be playshops where we have invited “play therapists” to lead you on how to tap into your inner child and find joy, fun and pleasure. As evening approached there will be sound healing, saunas and breathwork workshops.

Sunsets

There are several beach front walks and sunset observations where we will host drumming following a workshop on shamanic trance and meditation.

Daily Meal Preparation

Throughout the days, meals will be provided by local partners from across the region bringing fresh foods harvested from the jungles and surrounding area including freshly harvested seafood. Two days per week there will be an opportunity to register for cooking classes and participate in the meal preparation.

How to get here:

If you are traveling from the USA, we recommend flying to Liberia on American Airlines. We have always had excellent travel with American Airlines. The other airline that services Liberia from the USA consistently has schedule and luggage problems.

We recommend planning an extra day pre- and post- retreat to allow for climatization. Costa Rica enters its dry season in October with nearly no rain during November and December with temperatures between day time 85F and night time 55F with humidity at about 70% throughout the day and night.
